Darnelle Jenks
Each month we will be highlighting a couple of employees, to let our patients get to know our staff just a little bit better. This month, we’re highlighting Darnell Jenks, who started with us this past September.

Darnelle, originally from New Orleans, is our newest hygienist coming to us by way of Denver, Colorado. Darnelle lived in Denver for 4 years, mainly because she wanted to learn how to snowboard. She now lives at Jacksonville Beach and loves hanging out with friends at the beach.

Seven years ago, she moved to Jacksonville and attended Florida State College of Jacksonville, Dental Hygiene Clinic. She brings with her the most up-to-date training in the Kodak software, and the latest technology experience in imaging. Her specialties include cancer screening and radiographs.

During her college experience, Darnelle’s training included working at the Veterans Administration, Sulzbacher Homeless Shelter, City Rescue Mission and several local health departments.

Darnelle enjoys learning and has recently attended the Dental Users Convention.

When Darnelle is not cheering for the Jaguars, she’s busy supporting her beloved Saints. She also has an 8-year old basset hound named Roxy.

And Darnelle hates sweet potatoes.
